There are five classes of Felonies in Missouri State Courts (there are only four for offenses alleged to have been committed prior to 2017): Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D and Class E.
Potential prison terms are listed here: Class E felonies carry a punishment of up to four years in prison. Class D felonies carry a punishment of up to seven years in prison. Class C felonies carry a punishment from three to ten years. Class B felonies carry a punishment of five to fifteen years in prison and Class A felonies carry a punishment of ten to thirty years or life imprisonment.
